George III period mahogany stick barometer; the un-signed silvered register enclosed by a hinged and glazed door; the richly-coloured case with black-and-white boxwood cable and chequered stringing, a turned cistern-cover with an inlaid boxwood circlet and surmounted by an angled pediment with a brass urn finial. Circa 1800
