George III period mahogany long-case clock by John Vidion of Faversham, circa 1780. The eight-day striking movement fitted with an arched silvered dial with calendar, seconds and strike-silent chapters, inscribed VIDION FEVERSHAM (sic). In a well-figured case with a panelled base and double plinth, surmounted by a break-arch hood with fretted crestings, and reeded columns with brass bases and capitals.

*John Vidion is known to have been working in Faversham, Kent from 1774 to 1801.
