George III period mahogany long-case clock; the eight-day striking movement fitted with a 12" brass and silvered arched dial with a seconds chapter, a calendar segment and strike-silent hand, inscribed 'James Nesmyth, Stanes'. In a well-figured and golden-coloured 'London' pattern case with a break-arch hood fretted sound-panels and brass stop-fluted columns.
