Fine early 19th century bow-fronted stick barometer by J. Ronketti, 15 Museum St., Bloomsbury; the richly-coloured bow-fronted mahogany case with ebony stringing, the ivory registers enclosed by an arched front with bowed glass and fitted with an ivory-knob vernier, the urn-shaped cistern-cover flanked by inlaid ebony 'fluting'. Circa 1830John Ronketti is known to have been working at this address in Bloomsbury from 1820 to 1844
