George IV period rosewood and brass-inlaid small bracket-clock; the eight-day, twin fusee, bell striking and repeating movement with a 5 3/4" square silvered dial, inscribed 'Reeves & King, LUDGATE STREET*. The case with a double pyramidal top and plinth with split-turned mouldings; inlaid with brass lines, quatrefoils, florets and scrollwork, the sides with latticed sound-frets and ring-handles with paired cornucopiae back-plates. *Reeves & King, described principally as jewellers, are recorded in business at 32 Ludgate Street, London in 1830
