Late nineteenth century French brass carriage-clock; the gong-striking movement with an enamelled dial with blue Arabic numerals and gilded hands, inscribed by the retailer 'GOLDSMITHS' COMPANY, 112 REGENT ST, LONDON & PARIS'. In a lacquered brass Corniche pattern case with an oval top-glass and with its original red Russia-leather travelling-box.
