Regency period rosewood work/occasional table; the drop-leaf top with finely figured and coloured veneers, double cross-banded and inlaid with boxwood geometric stringing; fitted with two shallow drawers, and corresponding dummies, on turned supports with splayed legs and brass box-castors. The original sliding frame for a work-bag is still in position. Circa 1815
