High quality Regency period rosewood work-table in the manner of Gillows; the richly-grained pair-veneered top with a mahogany-lined drawer and original turned knob-handles, fitted with a sliding work-box covered in pale pleated fabric. The reverse side with a dummy drawer making this a free-standing piece of furniture standing on turned and reeded legs with carved stylised lotus headings and brass cup-castors.
