High quality nineteenth century kingwood and ormolu-mounted Louis XV style 'Bureau Plat'; of serpentine form with a tulipwood triple cross-banded top and an old tooled red leather insert within a bold knulled ormolu border; the frieze with three drawers, and corresponding dummies, with chevron veneered facings and polished mahogany linings, on chamfered cabriole legs; all with finely cast and chased ormolu mounts.
