George II period walnut bureau in well-figured walnut;  the desk fitted with six small drawers, six pigeon-holes with shaped valences and a central cupboard with a brass line-inlaid panel; the fall-front with three pairs of beautifully figured and matched veneers with chevron bandings; the lower part with four oak-lined drawers also with matched veneers and banded fronts, and fine gilt cast-brass handles and escutcheons.

Golden colour and lovely matched and grained veneers.
