19th century rosewood wheel barometer; the 8" silvered register inscribed 'J. TARA, LOUTH', with a mercury thermometer, an hygrometer and a spirit-level; the case surmounted by a swan's-neck pediment.

Two makers, 'I' and 'N', are recorded working in Louth from 1810 to 1830.
