Victorian silver four-piece tea-service of oval shape with fluted bases and narrow bright-cut engraved bands, silver handles of the teapot and hot-water jug with ivory insulators.

Sheffield, 1858, maker’s mark possibly Henry Stratford.  Each piece stamped with the retailer’s mark EDWARDS & SONS, GLASGOW & LONDON.

Total weight approximately 52 Troy ounces
