Set of eight George III style mahogany dining-chairs of fine quality and in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster;  the moulded cartouche-shaped backs with three carved vertical splats; on serpentine fronted stuff-over seats with tapered and fluted legs and spade feet.  Six side chairs and two elbow chairs.  Circa 1870
