Rare George III period satinwood medicine-chest

Rare George III period satinwood medicine-chest of cube form, cross-banded on each face with tulipwood and strung with black-and-white boxwood; the double-locked and hinged front wings each fitted with four bottles, with two small drawers below; the centre part with three deep compartments and bottles, and the front with four smaller bottles, their contents visible through pierced gothic-arched openings and with two shallow drawers below; all but three of the bottles are original and many contain interesting potions; the drawers are mahogany lined and have ivory knob-handles. One drawer has a manuscript label inscribed 'This medicine chest presented me by my good Aunt Mrs Bahiel (?) on the 17th day of Sept 1801. For which I will keep in respect of her worthy memory'.
