George IV period mahogany twin-pedestal dining-table of warm-coloured timber; the tops with reeded edges and on tripods with ring-turned shafts and reeded legs with brass castors. Fitted with one original and one later leaf. Each end of the table is 26 ins wide (66 cm) giving a table without the leaves of 44.25 x 52 ins (112 x 132 cm); one leaf is 20 ins wide (51) and the other 22.5 (57); so in terms of width there is a choice of 52, or 72, or 74.5 to a maximum of 94.5 ins (240 cm).
