George IV period mahogany hall-chair constructed of high quality timber, the bold scallop-shell and scrollwork back is carved from the solid and painted with its original owner's coat-of-arms; the bow-fronted seat has a central moulded circlet and is raised on turned and reeded fore-legs and plain curved rear-legs with a turned stretcher.
