George III period mahogany serpentine fronted chest-of-drawers; the boldly-shaped front with lively grained flame veneers, the drawers lined with oak and softwood and fitted with original brass octagonal-plate handles, all with black-and-white boxwood strung edges; surmounted by an overhanging top with shaped sides and on elegant splayed feet with a central satinwood oval bat's-wing plaque.
