George II period burr walnut bureau-cabinet of finely figured timber and exceptionally high quality workmanship; the finely fitted desk with gilt brass stop-fluted pilasters; the extensive interior drawers all lined with walnut; fine original brass handles, escutcheons and locks. The colour is best illustrated by the photo of the interior. An outstanding and significant piece of English furniture of the first half of the 18th century. Circa 1735
