Fine walnut oyster-piece chest-of-drawers from the turn of the seventeenth century; the top elaborately veneered with an elaborate geometric pattern of cross-cut oyster-pieces within cross-banded borders. The two long and two short oak-lined drawers similarly faced and with replaced brass handles and escutcheons of correct period design; the ends also veneered with oyster-pieces within hollywood borders, on replaced bun-feet.
