Fine walnut oyster-piece chest-of-drawers dating from the turn of the seventeenth century; the top inlaid with an elaborate geometric design within holly-wood borders and a cross-grained edge; the ends with an inlaid lozenge-shaped panel within broad holly-wood borders; fitted with two short and three long oak-lined drawers with replacement brass fittings of correct period design; on original oyster-piece and holly inlaid bracket feet.
