Fine and high quality George IV period mahogany cellarette of richly figured timber and sarcophagus form, the domed lid with boldly-carved foliate and scroll motifs and the sides with turned ring-handles, mounted on knulled bun feet; the interior with a central compartment for a trefoil decanter-stand, flanked by apertures for bottles and four half-depth rectangular pockets lined with red material, the underside of the lid finely re-lined in green 'antique' leather.

Condition In very good condition with a fine patination
