Early 19th century rosewood stick barometer by CORTI of EXETER; with arched ivory register panels mounted on a solid rosewood base; the cistern cover applied with an ivory plaque engraved 'MODEL BAROMETER'. Circa 1840

Paul Corti is known to have been working at No. 5 Market Street, Exeter, from 1830 to 1850.
