A rare pair of GIV period miniature tortoiseshell tea caddies in the Gothic taste.  Of octagonal shape with cavetto domed lids; the front and rear panels with finely moulded head-embossed panels in the Gothic taste with silver mounts and cut steel urn-shaped finials.  Interiors with loose lids.
