A pair of mid-Victorian easy chairs

A pair of mid-Victorian easy chairs with a moulded mahogany show-wood frame and bold scrolled arm supports; on cabriole legs with original white ceramic wheeled castors.  Presently covered in celadon-green Dralon velvet.  Upholstery is about twenty years’ old but in sound condition.  Circa 1860

27” (68.5cm) wide, 19” (48cm) deep in the seat and 37 ½” (95cm ) high.  Height to seat is 15 ½” (39.5cm)
