A fine WIV period casket shaped well figured tortoiseshell and engraved mother of pearl inlaid tea caddy with a double cavetto domed lid.  Vacant initial plate on top.  The front finely inlaid with mother of pearl flowers and foliage including roses and thistle with ivory mouldings, standing on four brass ball feet.  Interior with two loose lids, compartments retain much of their original lining.
