A fine and rare walnut oyster-piece chest-on-stand.  Richly veneered with bands and interlaced patterns of oyster-pieces within cross-banded borders and cross-grained mouldings; on its original stand fitted with a drawer and with bold cross-grained mouldings and replaced bun-feet.  All the drawers with fine oak linings and replacement brass-work of correct period design.

Condition In very good condition with a few replaced cross-grain mouldings.

Medium Walnut and laburnum
