A fine and handsome George II period mahogany and parcel-gilt mirror; the plate contained within an ogee-shaped and gilded border in a frame with carved and gilded leaf-tip mouldings, flanked by festoons of leaves, fruit and flowers, surmounted by a scrolled pediment with rosette-and-leaf mounts and with a richly carved eagle on a globular pedestal as a centrepiece.
